The Farringdon Society of Arts

Welcome to www.fsadevon.co.uk - the website of the Farringdon Society of Arts.

Farringdon is a small village in East Devon - it doesn't have a school, a shop or even a pub, but it does have a very active, award-winning arts society, the Farringdon Society of Arts (FSA for short).

Most of the FSA events are held in the Village Hall which is right next to the church.

• Go to our gallery to see the film of our 2009 exhibition in association with Guide Dogs.

in association with Devon Open Studios

The FSA will be holding their annual art exhibition from September 4th to 20th in the Farringdon 'Art Gallery' [our village hall]. 10am to 6pm daily [Thursdays 9th and 16th until 8pm].

This year we are celebrating the work of three painters:

Sarah Gillard is showing a new collection of paintings inspired by her recent travels in Greece [see an example below, 'View from Pine Trees', gouache].

Dave Robinson has a new collection of Devon landscapes.

Barbara Rochester is showing new portraiture and still life.

Dave and Barbara are also featured in the DAN taster exhibiton at Kennaway House, Sidmouth.

We look forward to your visit and a chat over tea or coffee!
